Document cameras are very useful in the Historical classroom. These document cameras allow students to look at original text together, write- highlight-and draw conclusions on the importance of major locations. With this document camera we can make primary source documents and maps come alive in the classroom. We can work together on labeling material, showing the direction of major trade routes, and dissecting primary source documents to enhance and enrich their learning experience. In the Virginia curriculum primary source documents are a major component to historical learning. Therefore it is imperative that we dissect major and minor works together to get a better understanding of history in time and place and document cameras allow us to do that together with the original text in hand.

About my class
