This money will help me to help more students with dyslexia to learn to read! It will help me complete all required coursework and certifications to teach all of the Basic Language Skills methods, which are proven to work because they are multi-sensory. We begin by ensuring that each student knows the sounds of the alphabet. Then, we dig deeper and learn about word parts, spelling rules and beyond. For example, we will use skywriting, learn cursive, learn all about phonology, orthography and more. This method dramatically changes lives because it creates readers from a group of people with much potential!
