My students need two iPads and cases to give students a chance to become familiar with technology. Many of my students come from very poor households as well as are homeless. These students come from families that are not able to purchase these types of technology for their homes. iPads will allow them to access and use technology on a daily basis. The iPads can be used as both a learning tool as well as an incentive. There are many applications that can be used for literacy, math and extra curricular fun. Students will be able to access iPads during center time as well as free choice. They will enjoy being able to learn and play with them.
