Our little school is the first school from Oklahoma to be selected for a program called Expedition Yellowstone. We are bringing a group of 40 students and chaperones to Yellowstone National Park in April. We are being provided rustic cabins to stay in during our 4 days living in Yellowstone. Each day will be filled with students working with scientists in multiple fields of study. Our days will begin at 6 a.m. and end around 9:30 p.m. The students will be journaling about their experiences and will be living without electronics during our trip. This is an amazing and exciting opportunity for our students and they are working hard to prepare for the trip. We have learning days and take hikes to get prepared. These are done on our own time on the weekends and the kids are happy and excited to do it. My concern is the students not having the proper gear or the financial resources to get the gear. These hats and gloves are high quality that will help my students stay warm and enjoy the incredible beauty of Yellowstone.
