Students will be filling out, labeling, and coloring different activities involving worksheets and models. They are starting with the typical layers of the Earth "pizza slice" worksheet. They then are going to come up with their own model. Some ideas I have seen before are using cake or a burger to model the parts of the Earth. The students will also be filling out, coloring, and labeling the rock cycle. These pencils will be used for all assignments that need coloring and hopefully be used for years to come. The chair is going to be used by my students, and myself, when we are sitting at my tall label table. This table gets used often and the only way it can be used now is to stand.
