With a strong emphasis on science and the arts at our magnet school, our students know how to think outside the box when creating and inventing. However, some of our students are children of trauma and working with others is a challenge. We need highly motivating activities for students to increase their practical knowledge of building and engineering while practicing their social skills. These Lego products will allow our students to create new worlds while learning how to co-exist in this one. Highly coveted, these are materials beyond the means of many of our low income families. With the portability and ease of storage, Lego products will be perfect for encouraging ingenuity and teamwork in many settings throughout our school.
