My students have not performed well in a traditional classroom. I am required to constantly think out of the box to assist my students in focusing on learning. Movement is key to their success as well as learning how to manage their time. Consistent reinforcers are needed to motivate them. Seating that allows students to move will help to keep the brain active and engaged during lessons. My goal is to provide multiple types of seating so that students can move constantly and change the type of movement as their movement needs change. In addition, vibrating watches will be used to help students self monitor time and increase work time required before reinforcers are provided.
