My students currently do not have access to adequate technology to compete in the 21st century. If my students are able to have better access to hands-on technology this will push them academically and have success in their future. They will be able to play educational games during center time, watch science videos, create pictures, read stories, as well as be able to access the I-Read intervention program for reading and math. Students are required to use the I-Read program 3 times a week on the computer mandated by the district. This is hard to accomplish due to the lack of technology. These tablets will be great to help me accomplish this goal.
