I am requesting necessary funding to attend the annual AMI conference/refresher course. These conferences and professional development events are crucial in developing knowledge and skills to best support learning challenges seen in the classroom and to continuously strengthen skills and practice throughout our career. The theme of this years' conference is Montessori and the Power of Nature in which attendees will become reconnected to the beauty that surrounds us. Furthermore, I have decided to participate in the equity intensive workshops in which participants will explore key social justice concepts. Thank you for any support given to help bring this important experience to the children of Urban Montessori Charter School.
