Adding wobble chairs to our technology station would be the icing on the cake. My students enjoy listening to a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, battling one another on math quests, increasing their math fluency, and sharpening their comprehension skills all while using a laptop. My students use laptops daily to enhance the learning process, and having comfortable seating that allows for "wiggle room" will only make that experience more fulfilling. Currently, it is a tight-squeeze to fit 6 regularly sized student chairs at a corner counter in our classroom. The students have been so flexible and accepting of the seating, but it can be difficult for them to have enough space to be seated and use their laptop. Wobble chairs would provide enough personal space for the students to work, the ability to move while they work, and actively engage their entire body during learning. Having wobble chairs for our technology station would provide a more effective work space for the students.
