By donating to our project, you will help encourage communication skills for non verbal students while engaging in creative play. The students can build and create during free choice time but there are not any building materials in the classroom. The building materials will promote following a sequence of steps and encourage communication skills through cooperative play. Creative materials will encourage communication and also help with STEM at a very basic level. Developing gross and fine motor skills, along with joint communication encourages cooperative play. (I have to create visual direction booklets with Picture Exchange Communication, hence the binding machine.)
