My students crave hands-on activities that I can share with them during 1:1 learning time. Many of them interact with their curriculums virtually. So, our in-person visits are important to develop reading skills through play. The items I have chosen will help to develop learning through play. It will also allow some of my students who struggle with pencil/paper tasks to stamp or snap those words together. The sound tubs are a great tool to use when introducing the letter sounds. This reinforces the sound the letter makes rather than the letter name.
