Osmo can be used in so many ways in the classroom to benefit the students. For example, Osmo helps students who have trouble following directions. The Osmo Monster App draw the objects he needs for his bedroom. Once students draw the objects on a piece of paper next to the Osmo the monster reaches over and puts the picture in the room. This gives the student immediate gratification and leads the student to want to follow the next set of instructions and so on. I can also upload pictures of my students into Osmo. Then the children can begin to work on letter-sound connection by writing the first letter of each classmate they see. Having Osmo and an IPad Air in our classroom would expose my students to another form of technology that they've never seen before. The Osmo will also be a great resource for intervention and reinforcement. Osmo will allow me to differentiate instruction for all levels of learning. With the Osmo they will be using logic and critical thinking to solve problems. I strongly feel that learning must be fun especially at such a young age and Osmo will allow my students to enjoy that type of learning on a daily basis.
