Books are an amazing outlet for students to explore different worlds. They will make a difference in students learning because the books they read and love will help shape the readers and writers these kindergarteners will become! Read alouds are always my favorite part of teaching, especially with the younger kids. Having these classic books will make read alouds that much more fun for the students. Though I will be keeping the books in the classroom and not sending them home with students, exploring different literature in the class will allow students to go home and look at different books by these authors and explore a whole new world of reading!
