The materials I chose will inspire, motivate and encourage my students to draw and write stories. When the student uses the various paints and brushes to draw pictures of their community, favorite animal, community worker or to tell a story they will be motivated by the use of vibrant and bold colors (mixing and individual colors). Also, finger painting is a way for them to utilize and explore their sense of touch, movement and well as creativity. The soft building blocks and LEGO will allow the student's to explore building various objects, buildings and creating what every they like with their imagination and creativity. The student's will be willing to express with a partner or the class what they have created and be proud of their work.
