All students should get a chance to play Orff melodic instruments like the xylophones. They're a great introduction instruments to play and learn about melody, ostinato accompaniments for the songs they sing, and they'll also aid in learning how to read music. Our music classroom currently doesn't have any melodic instruments. And these xylophones would be a great addition. Many of our students have never had the opportunity to play xylophones and I believe all children should get the experience. This would help them be more creative and instill in them the feeling of a community and accomplishment when we use these instruments during our performances and class projects.
