I am working on teaching my students how to work as a team, problem solve on their own and reading comprehension. These Fairy Tale Stem Kits are amazing for accomplishing these goals. My classroom has already completed all three sets from Kit 1. Now we would like to move on to Kit 2. It is exciting to see my students learn to work as a team. Kindergarten students are so used to independent work and I want to broaden their abilities to work together and problem solve as a team. These kits also help with story comprehension which is a literacy goal we are currently working on. We start by reading the story then work in groups to solve the problem.
