This coding project will be utilized in Algebra 2 and Calculus classes. My students are competent with the TI-84 graphing calculator, so this project will extend the capabilities of the calculator with the TI-Innovator Rover, Hub, and accessories. By using the TI-Innovator Rovers, my students will be able to program their classroom calculator to explore topics in math, science, coding, and STEM. The donations to this project will help improve my students' understanding and competency in high school mathematics through coding. The TI-Innovator Rover allows students to put math and science in motion by adding a physical dimension to verbal, symbolic, and graphic representations. The TI-Innovator Hub translates commands from the TI-graphing calculators to control the Rover. This project will ensure that students are more engaged with hands-on learning. I would appreciate your help in providing my students with the ability to apply high school math concepts through coding with TI-Innovator Rovers and Hub.
