Math can be a challenging subject to some students, and one way I am trying to make it less-daunting is by using small group instruction. A table with a whiteboard top will make this type of instruction more effective and helpful for everyone. The students are not as afraid to write out math problems, or try new things because it can easily be erased. I am able to change instruction/problems quickly, without having to have 3-5 different worksheets ready. With this type of table, I will be able to see my students’ work and quickly assess, and fix, their work. I tried creating my own table, but it is falling apart and does not look good!!!
