I’m looking for more tools that help me teach students with actual manipulatives and tools. I see students practicing math skills I’ve taught with these tools. I see those who’ve learned the concept taught teachIng a partner or helping someone who hasn’t quite gotten it yet. Finally, I see kids who can show me what they’ve mastered! Tools that allow kids to move in a math group from my lesson to independent practice are always a necessity in the classroom. These materials offer practical experiences and hands-on learning and visual learning which is part of best practice in teaching.
