The various math games will allowed the students to practice skills such as addition, subtraction, place value and money in a fun and engaging way. The math folder games are another way to practice the important math skills for second grade of place value, money, and computation. With these math materials, my students will not only be able to practice and increase their math skills, but they will also increase their social skills by working in groups. Math is such an essential skill for life and many of my students struggle mastering some of the basic math skills. These activities will increase their engagement because they are all hands-on and interactive. These games will improve the students learning because they will be me engaged in the lesson versus the traditional math books.
