My project is created with the intention of putting a smile on my students' faces as they learn to write the letters of the alphabet and their names. The joy my students have when they finally create letters independently is overwhelming. By funding my project, you will be providing my students with a variety of materials to learn the formations of letters, learn to trace letters, and independently write letters. Although, putting pencil to paper is the traditional method of learning to write, these materials will help my students who have difficulties correctly learning and writing the formations of letters. This project has trace and wipe boards, letter formation books, magic write boards, and magnetic trace boards. These materials will provide students with the foundations of letter formation and creation.
By funding my project, not only will you be putting a smile on a child's face, but you will also be funding materials to prepare students to be future writers in Elementary school and beyond. I want to create an environment in which students feel they can learn to write. With these materials, students have a variety of options to help them learn how to write letters. Learning to write the alphabet today...Future authors tomorrow!
