I am hoping to expose all my students to the fundamentals of Computer Science through plugged and unplugged activities. According to the National Center for Women & Information Technology, a student's " ability to innovate with technology is also important for students' future success and ability to make a difference in a global society." I want to show my students, no matter gender or race, that Computer Science is accessible for all and can open doors in their learning and beyond. Code.org offers many opportunities for students to plug in using Dash and Botley, "robots" used to program codes. Computer Science can easily be adapted within all content areas.
