I would like to have an outdoor seating area for students to use for science activities. It is important for students to have a place to observe nature in action. Sometimes we like to go outside and watch an area for a few minutes to see what creatures come out. "The sun does not shine for a few trees and flowers, but for the wide world’s joy” ~ Henry Ward Beecher. A convertible bench would be a versatile addition to our school yard. Students and teachers could conduct lessons in the open air, write stories using their senses, or conduct science experiments that may be a little messy.
