These materials will help my students stayed engaged during independent work and give them the flexibility they need during the day. I have quite a few students who would also benefit from these materials for calm down corners. I have found that our classroom has a great need for this. It helps recenter students and correctly solve any conflict they may be dealing with. Our students are eager to learn but need the space to do that! These materials will also help my students who are hyperactive. Each one of my students has a different need in the classroom, and having material or supplies to help meet those needs is so very beneficial to them! For example, after math, each student completes an independent practice; my students love to find a place around the classroom to work, but due to lack of areas they end up uncomfortable, active, and unfocused. These materials will greatly impact their ability to focus and therefore increasing not only their grades but their ability to remember it long term.
