At our school, we strive to welcome students to our program as if they're being welcomed home because, in many ways, we are a family. In order to create both a productive space for completing courses, as well as comfortable and welcoming space for students to feel safe and secure to both learn, heal, and grow, we need seating options that will stand the test of time and use. The sturdy make of these furniture items helps students to achieve these goals. For many of our students who've had negative experiences in a traditional school setting, our non-traditional furniture sets the mood for a fresh start. Having options where students sit to learn is one way we empower students to make their learning experience as unique as they are. This may seem like "just comfortable seating" but I promise you, the atmosphere that this future creates in our classroom creates for our students a safe place to LAND, rather than just a place to SIT.
