Having access to additional technology in the classroom can ultimately lead to increased engagement. When technology is used as an educational tool, it can help present content and instruction that is not only interesting but relevant to students' learning. By making learning more relevant to students' learning, they are able to become more engaged and active learners. These tablets will continue to enhance the digital classroom that I strive to create. Technology innovation has transformed classrooms. Some school districts have administered a 1:1 policy where all students have a device, such as a laptop or tablet. Although my classroom will not be 1:1, I will be able to incorporate more technology based lessons. For example, the tablets can be used during small groups for online platforms such as Quizizz, Kahoot, PearDeck, or Padlet.
