Having extra computers in the classroom will give all of the students an opportunity to learn how to use them. Our students are very familiar with iPads and cell phones but very little of them know how to use a computer. Some of the computers in my classroom are very old and the students have a hard time getting them to work. This causes them to be unable to use them. My classroom has several computers that do not work at all which causes a strain on my classes. Sometimes students have to share the computers. I would love for each student to have their own computer so they can be efficient while they learn. The students are learning how to type, format paragraphs and business letters, what type of letters to use, how to type memos, how to create flyers, business cards, create logos, and so much other fun and exciting things. This is an awesome learning experience.
