Distance learning is extremely different from working at school. Students aren't always organically interested in their texts (especially at home), so giving students texts that touch on their own culture is an excellent way to draw them in. By providing students with dictionaries, we can effectively aid them in comprehension and building vocabulary, while giving them space from the screens that can be draining after a long day. The combination of these tools gives student a better chance at staying on pace with reading and comprehension as they gear up for next year!
