Recently, after a book club project, I surveyed my students and asked what kind of projects they would love to try. Many of them have ideas that involve technology, iMovie, Tik Tok, etc. Our school computers aren't equipped with that type of technology. And many of our students aren't sure where to start with this type of technology. My students are generally more engaged when they are working on things that are rigorous AND relevant to their lives. Working with the iPads will give the students a chance to learn how to share resources, work in groups, and expand (my) and their learning of technology.
