As a STEM teacher, my students do a lot of project-based learning. Many times we create projects using recycled materials to help keep the cost down. However, it is important that we have tape to help keep the cardboard and other recyclables together. The variety of tape on this project will be used to build models, color code information, tape math notes into their notebooks, and adhere strategy reminders to student agendas. The colored masking tape will save students time and energy by not needing to paint their projects. Similarly, the Scotch Tape will help students tape pre-printed math notes into their notebooks for later reference.
