Terri Foster came to my class last year and shared her embroidery project with my students. They have been asking for her to come back and teach them her techniques. She will be working with 4-5 grade classes teaching her process. The finished products will be displayed in the community. Having an accomplished Chicago based artist come down south to teach my budding artists her techniques would be awesome! Fiber arts has been something my students have been asking me to teach them. As a performing arts school, having visiting artists come to visit would help them realize they could be professional artists as well.
