If I were to obtain the certificate, I will bring my students higher quality education in the foreign language classroom. The process requires extensive writing and reflecting on my teaching. Obtaining the certificate demonstrates that a teacher provides high quality education to his or her students and that they are able and willing to go the extra mile to make sure all of the students learn. I apply educational research during my lesson planning and execution... Research shows foreign language learning promotes overall critical thinking skills, and students who are exposed to a higher level of learning are more likely to be bilingual adults.
