Models and hands on science help students visually connect to things that they may not see on daily basis. It helps them put a idea to something concrete. I can tell them about the liver and its function, but if I can show them what a liver looks like and where it is in the human body with a 3 dimensional model they can have a greater understanding. These models are learning opportunities for my students to put their hands on science and experience phenomena. My job as a teacher is not only to teach but to inspire the next generation of learners to become scientists.

About my class
