Seat Sacks are an essential organizational tool for 1st graders. They need to have their materials ready at their fingertips so there is less time being wasted for transition of materials. This way we can keep on learning. Seat sacks also teach 1st graders how to be responsible. The Seat Sacks will allow me to make sure things are being placed in the appropriate folder and notebook. My students sit at tables which allows for no storage options for each child. The Seat Sacks will allow a place for each child to have their leveled readers available whenever they have extra time within the day as well. Since the Seat Sack is right behind their chair, it is also the lest disruptive course in order to get a book in their hands.
