Rest time is crucial for PreK students to rest and recharge after a long day of learning. I want the best for my students throughout the day and that includes rest time. Currently the cushions they are sleeping on are old and falling apart. Some can be considered unsafe, students will crawl inside the holes or try and eat the cushion. Their cushions are not only used for napping but are utilized as a safe space if they need a break throughout the learning day. Students will go and practice coping skills when having a hard time. Comfort is key!
