The laminator, laminating sheets, and velcro, are the most educational way to teach my early learners things like: matching and answering questions correctly. My Para's and I are always laminating and velcroing things such as: safety signs, how to recycle, letters and numbers. We laminate the page twice and use the second page as a tool. We cut up the pictures on the second page and place velcro on the back of pictures that were cut and the front of their matching companion. The fake money is to help my students understand how to count, give change, understand its value. For example, we are starting a recycling project to collect bottle and cans. Then, we plan to organize them and take them back to the store. Students should be able to count how much they earned and decide what they can afford- a pizza party, a classroom item, a fun game. The mailbox and organizer are to help my students learn organization and responsibility tasks. They are responsible for doing their classroom job. They are responsible for cleaning up the classroom. They are responsible for putting their homework and communication book in the mail box. With the organizer they can each have their own space to check their tasks for he day, as well as, be accountable for checking off that they completed it (more laminating and velcro). The mailbox and fake money also serve to teach students real life skills- how to sent a letter, how much is a stamp, what do do I need to send a letter. Please help support my high schoolers, who cannot afford these things, nor the teacher teaching them! They are a wonderful class and deserve the best possible education they we can give them
