With this Flashforge Finder 3D printer and filament, our middle school library will launch a STEM-oriented makerspace. During the school day, teachers and students will be able to access these tools for collaborative group projects. After school, I will begin hosting a makerspace club for students. Projects will be student-driven. In our new makerspace, students will develop their design skills using Tinkercad, while allowing their creativity to take flight! While some of my students are already interested in science and technology, many others really love to draw and to create art. I am eager to harness this passion to spark their interest in math, science, and technology. The explorations of today just may persuade my students to become the engineers of tomorrow!
