The requested book collection will boost my classroom library. I changed grade levels this year, from second to first, and many of my books are too easy for my students to read. Elevating the library for my classroom will help my students' love for reading increase since they will have more on-level texts. Engaging reading and math opportunities are vital. The other portion of my project includes math manipulatives, which are vital in my math instruction. Research has shown children do not grow with rote math instruction, and hands-on activities will help build number sense. These products will boost student learning.
