Reading is an essential life skill. Many students struggle academically with their core classes (i.e. English, math, history, science) because of their low reading level. We are hoping to get students, at all levels, excited about reading in the primary grades in order to keep them interested and help them develop a life long love of reading. Additionally, our goal is to help students in the middle school have access to content appropriate books that are on their reading levels. Teenagers do not want to be seen with 'elementary' books even if they are the books at their reading level.
