This will assist my students and I to have the resources to improve their sensory needs in order to function and participate successfully within the educational environment . It will assist in improving attention, self- regulation, and daily living skills. This will help the children to decrease behaviors by meeting a sensory need such as proprioceptive input such as the weighted lap pad. The sandwich sequencing cards will help them to be able to follow multi step directions to transition into vocational for the older kids I work with. The goal is to adapt or modify to improve their ability to successfully participate within the educational environment; whether it be fine motor skills, visual motor, visual perceptual, sensory processing, daily activities , and executive functioning.
