Students spend so much time creating 2-D art and to transfer it from 2-D into 3-D will give students a better understanding of how designs of any kind start on paper and can be brought to life as a form. This can help students who love art possibly image jobs they never thought of, such as a shoe designer, design cars and even clothes. Students will sketch out a design on paper and problem solve as to how they will create their design using wire. Once completed, they will attach the sculpture to a base. Students love making anything that is different than drawing on paper.

About my class
