Adding badminton to our curriculum will add another game to our Physical Education program. We have never had it before. The kids have only been exposed to the typical gym games such as basketball, volleyball and hockey. This limits their opportunity to find a game they love and want to continue playing at home, after school or even after they graduate high school! One of the goals for Physical Education teachers is to encourage students to be active for life and this could aid in that. It is a game with little equipment that can be played anywhere and with only one other person!

About my class
