My students are amazing. They are resilient and excited to learn about the world around them, however, they do not get as many chances as other students in our city. Students at my school rarely travel outside of our community. This is an opportunity for them to not only learn about the history of our state and people but also see and experience things that are usually out of their reach. Our third graders have never been on a field trip before and I believe this would be a wonderful start for them. The Heard Museum is a place where they can learn about the people that helped make our state strong, colorful, and full of culture. It is an opportunity for them to see art first hand and be in a museum (for many of them for the first time). Thank you so much for helping me support my amazing kiddos.
