Small group instruction is a vital component in my classroom. The students are in the floor for our small group instruction. We have three groups we rotate through each day. Students are with a teacher, a paraprofessional, and on their own during a computer rotation. The students like moving around the room and sitting in the floor. It would be nice when the students leave the teacher/student centered activity for them to have a comfortable spot to continue working on their math independently. Students could take advantage of several seating choices and get right to work comfortably. It would be a fun, different way to work rather than being at desks.
