The picture books that I am asking for will be used in individual sessions, small group lessons and classroom guidance lessons. They will also be available for classroom teachers to utilize as apart of our adopted school wide "Choose Love" social emotional learning curriculum. These books will target a variety of different topics including kindness, empathy, growth mindset, conflict resolution, emotion regulation, anxiety and so much more. Read alouds are my students favorite way to learn and they help to provide a comfortable and caring environment for classroom discussions on difficult topics. The valuable knowledge and skills that my students will learn from the picture books in this project will have a positive impact on the rest of their lives.
