My kids work so hard, but drill drill drill is boring! Exciting new materials that target their speech and language goals will help them grow and be successful in their general education classroom. Phonological awareness material will be utilized not only with special education students struggling to learn to read, but with students in general education intervention as well. The more engaged my students are the harder they work, even when they think it's "just" a game or story time. These kiddos work so hard to keep up with the peers and be successful in the general education classroom. The more resources we have that target their specific needs the better we can help them.
