I would like to create a more inviting environment for my students. By allowing them the option of choosing their seats, they will feel more open to learning. This will also allow them to choose if they would like to sit in groups or on their own for that day. I have started implementing flexible seating slowly in my room and with what I have the students love the options. I want to create more options for them. With this it also brings more responsibility on the students. The students have the option of where they want to sit and what they want to sit on for that day. The students enjoy having the freedom of choosing their place for the day in the classroom. This helps them feel included in the learning process and makes them more eager to learn that day! Like previously stated, I have slowly started the flexible seating process in my room but I would like to give more options to my kiddos so that they can have their comfy place.
