While we are fortunate to provide students access to graphing calculators in class, many do not have access to this valuable tool outside of the classroom. Providing students a chance to rent a graphing calculator will allow equitable learning experiences to those who cannot afford the cost of purchasing one. We plan to charge students a minimal fee to rent a calculator for the school year and use these funds to purchase more calculators, expand the program each year. We have seen the difference in performance among students with access to this tool and hope to help even more succeed.
