The children in my classes love hands-on science and music activities. These materials will provide us with the opportunities to build more science and music into our whole classroom. The students will observe, explore, and discover new things about their world. They will have hands on experiences with the science of living things in the discovery habitat and physical science in our sensory table and light table. We hope our first project will be investigating how worms live and eat. We will use the musical instruments to learn about sounds, build appreciation for a variety of music and explore different musical instruments. Our classes will also be starting a music study in January to continue to expand on the interests of the students.
